Actually, Yahoo generates the thumbnail and the 400 pixel size images when you upload an image.
So unfortunately, I don't control that at all.

Possibly you need to make sure the writing is clear when the image is
re-scaled to 400
pixels in its longest direction. This appears to be the size Yahoo
shows the pictures at.
