Subject: Re: [Astro_IIDC] Question about Unibrain camera options
Hi Tim -
I bought the B&W fire-i board camera from Unibrain.
Hopefully Milton can shed more light on the color version.

So. I'm confused. There's a fire-i camera, NIB, on ebay right now. It's got the plastic
case.
the bids are high enough at this point ($50), that I might just prefer to buy a new board
camera to be sure that it's got the more sensitive CCD in it.
But: there are two color versions listed, though they use the same Sony CCD. The "RAW
Color Version" says "480 TV lines (as monochrome before d-Bayering, user dependent
after)", whereas the "Color version" says "400 TV lines".
Question: Does it matter to Astro IIDC which camera I choose, since the software handles
the color processing independently of the software supplied by Unibrain?
