That is a list of FireWire cameras, some  of which are not even IIDC compliant - so it has nothing to do with what Astro IIDC 1.0 supports.

and I do eventually buy one we know is compatible, what are

your thoughts about the download/lisence options?


If you plan on using a camera with multiple Macs, then probably best is to register the camera. In your situation you want to be able to use multiple Macs and multiple cameras, and we don't allow both - you can choose one or the other.
