Well, I took my first several gigabytes of video with the Aplux camera (in the fire-i case).
Astro IIDC worked great, though I'm sure I haven't figured out all the coolness yet.
But I'm having a tough time processing the videos. I tried Keith's image stacker and the
demo of Astrostack, and I can't seem to figure out the first things at the "align and stack"
stage of either program.
Currently, I'm using graphic converter to break up one of the videos into .bmp files so I
can try Registax using Virtual PC, but what a kluge!
I've used Astrostack before. Once when it was pretty new (on my PC), and it worked pretty
well. Then again with version 2.0, but I didn't like the results with it anywhere near as well
as Registax. I've never used Keith's software before, though, so I may just be missing
something that's easy.
Alan, what do you use? Did you say somewhere?

Tim,
I'm a newbie to video processing and I found Lynkeos quite intuitive to use. You pretty much go step-by-obvious step. The documentation is pretty good too. Find it and find out about it here: http://lynkeos.sourceforge.net/english/main.html. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your pix.
