The simplest thing thing is to order an adapter (the lens you screw in uses M12 x 0.5 thread)  for a 1.25", but maybe you want to build your own?

I would prefer to buy but the webcaddy guy said he doesnt make one that fits the Fire-i.

Most Unibrain camera have a difference mounting thread for the lens. The

webcam adapter uses an M12 * 0.5mm pitch thread. This is 12mm diameter (just

under 0.5") and 0.5mm pitch which is very fine. If you can remove the lens

from your camera and have a look at the thread. It is probably smaller in

diameter and more like a normal bolt pitch. In which case I don't have an

adapter for it, sorry.

My lens appears to be 10 mm in diameter and about 7 mm deep.  There are 7 threads in that depth.  I suppose it could be 12 mm in dia.  I dont have a caliper.
