I used the stacking feature in ASTRO IIDC to create the components for the RGB layers 

(captured using a manual filterwheel with my B&W DMK 21BF04 webcam.) Although I 

still 

found that I could tweak a little higher resolution by hand selecting and multiple 

aligning 

the frames for a luminence image, using the auto stacking routine in ASTROIIDC saves a 

bunch of time.

Very nice!  I haven't gotten up the gumption yet to get up early in the morning for Mars.  

But  since Jupiter's getting low already in the evening - and Uranus isn't all that exciting at 

under 4" - It's time for Mars!
