Subject: A recent picture of Mars showing Solis Lacus from a former lurker

Hi All, 

I have been following with keen interest the informative postings and 

excellent photos here since the Group began.  Although I have taken

lunar and planetary images with firewire webcams for almost 3 years

with some success and  much enjoyment,  I have only recently began

to use the Astro IIDC software for capture.  I have placed a photo of

Mars taken with My 7" Maksutov using version 1.00  on August 3, 2005

in the files section. 

Today I downloaded Version 2.02.00.  Hopefully the weather will clear

soon so I can try it out.

Thanks Milt for writing this well made MAC software and maintaining

a great discussion site.
