is leakage or condensation a serious concern?
A BIG concern. You do not want your camera dropping below the condensation point or water will condense out of the air and make your electronics go "pzzzzzzzzzst" if they are powered up.
In the winter up here (-40C outside with 0% humidity, +20C with say 30% humidity), I wrap my cameras or other electronics devices (including Laptop) in a sealed air tight plastic bag BEFORE I bring it back inside to warm up after observing. Otherwise the the humidity will cause water condensation instantaneously and will be similar to just pouring quarter a cup of water into the laptop. And leave it in the Bag until it warms up to room temperature before you take it out and plug it in too.
I have doubts about the longevity of my Water Cooled Dual G5 Mac - which is why I have an extended Apple warranty put on it.
