Yep.  That does help.  Seriously.  ...if I spend that kind of money on a camera, I'd hate to 

break it!

Considering the limitations of the Meade DSI (it's fun to play with, but it still doesn't strike 

me as a "serious" astro camera), I can't see the justification for spending an additional 255 

bucks on a peltier cooler.
