Subject: 3 views of the sun

I had a chance to image the sun last sunday after returning from (an excellent) MAW in

Chicago. If you haven't checked out the sun lately, don't miss the show. AR798 has single

handedly made Sept. 2005 the most active month of solar activity since Mar. 1991!!

The first 2 images were captured and stacked using AstroIIDC. The close-up frames were

hand selected in Keith's Image Stacker. All process done in Adobe Photoshop. 90mm H-

Alpha filter on a 5" refractor working at f11 for the wide views and f22 for the close-up.

best wishes -

Alan
