Subject: Mare Erythraeum and Solis Lacus on 2005 09 13/mts
Hi All,
Tuesday morning was one of those rare skies with Danko 4/5 seeing.
Mars was a little more than 15 arc.sec in diameter. Both the
markings around Mare Erythraeum and Solis Lacus were videoed
intermitantly over a four hour period using a 7" Questar titanium at
f/35 through a Sony XCD-x710CR fire wire video camera at 15 - 30
frames/sec for 140 t0 70 sec. Uncompressed capture was with
Astro IIDC 2.00.02 and analysis was with Keith's Image Stacker 4.2.
To keep from using up the groups disc space, I have displayed
these photos on my web pages.
JPG page for 2005 09 13 is at
http://homepage.mac.com/snidermt3zp/PhotoAlbum17.html
TIFF page for 2005 09 13 is at

The jpg files being about 1/5 to 1/10 the size of the tiff files are
best for dial up modems. If broad band is available, the tiffs show
slightly more detail.
Enjoy,
Mike Snider
