Duane;

You should not be getting the grid pattern with a color  Unibrain camera - unless something else is going on. For example, if you crank the saturation above 50 (WHICH WE HAVE SAID SPECIFICALLY NOT TO DO), then you will get processing artifacts.

So my guess is your cranking the saturation up to much. It would help if you posted the log info for the camera shot, because perhaps your settings are a bit extreme. Every Frame / Movie that is captured al the settings for it are logged so you can come back to them.

HTH..

Great image Tim,

I can't wait to get my Mars bigger. I need to upgrade my camera. Alan is right about the

Unibrain. It creates a pattern on the image and you pretty much have to scale the image

50% to make it look good with this thing.

Anybody want to buy a Unibrain camera with adapter?

Right now I'm still having fun with it and learning my way around Astro IIDC.

Here is last nights endeavors:

I have a bunch more that I haven't processed yet and I am thinking about processing them

all and if there is not too much rotation, stack them all together to see if I can overcome

that grid pattern. Then my image will be x2 the size it is now (maybe bigger if I can stretch

that). I just need the TIME!!!

Milton, this is a blast!
