Hi Alan;
Very nice images and comparison.
Interestingly enough, there is a darker patch in the North Polar Hood that I noticed last night in my October 23 shots. It also appears in your higher resolution October 22nd shot too. I wonder if that's related to the dust storms too or something else?

The image on the left was shot at f29 aligned and stacked using AstroIIDC. The right hand
image was hand selected and stacked in Keith's Image Stacker. The seeing was quite poor
on the 21st with much deformation of the planet's disk and features even in the sharp
frames - so I used four different alignment quadrants for the planet to try and tease the
most detail from the video. The right hand video was shot at f32.
The LRGB composite is built and processed in Adobe Photoshop CS2.
