Actually an embryonic animation tool was a feature of "Sharpest Frame" (which was incorporated into Astro IIDC) and is how I did these Jupiter Moon traversals (double shadow and triple shadow).

hope you can find time to do this. Maybe an automated animation tool will be a feature of
Astro IIDC 3.0?!
