That's pretty nice for a 76mm aperture!  It looks like you might want to lower the 

saturation and gain levels, and/or shorten the exposure somewhat.  I set my Flea camera 

up in Asro IIDC so that the histograms are about half to 2/3 of the way toward the right 

(saturation) so that the averaged exposures are a fair ways from saturating.  This gives 

more flexibility in adjusting the levels at the processing stage once the images are 

stacked.

Not the greatest Mars image every to grace this group but my first one.  Seeing 

conditions were quite poor with high winds and drifting clouds and also unseasonably 

warm nights here in the Toronto region,  I have a Unibrain webcam and a Televue 76 

mm Oracle aporefractor.  It's quite hard to get a large enough image on my f7.4 

scope so it took some careful aligning  to shoot at prime focus through a 5x 

Powermate so I guess effective f37.  Hope skies clear up this week for a chance at 

better resolution.
