Subject: Re: Camera for guiding

Maybe Milton could find a bigger Mac market if he spun off the

autoguiding portion of his

code to a separate application, whatcha think?

That really makes zero sense. The entire "Mac Astro Guiding Market"

isn't more than 100 users and your proposing I split the guiding code

off for them? Is $50 USD such an "onerous" price that it prevents you

from buying it?

No, I'm sure that price is a bargain for the value & the work you've invested! $50 is almost

incidental compared to the cost of the camera, guide scope and mount hardware necessary

to accomplish the task of autoguiding.

I'm also sure you know your market better than I do. I didn't consider myself to be part of

your market because I'm not very interested in doing planetary or lunar imaging at this point.

Now, however, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to use your software because it's

apparently the only game in town when it comes to autoguiding on the Mac. It'll be the end of

the year till I can get my hands on the drive hardware to make it happen. Then I'll buy your

software.
