Subject: Unibrain adaptor

Thanks to everyone for their insightful advice concerning my Mars

imaging.  I'll try again with attention to red gain and see if more

details arise, should be getting my JMI Motofocuser soon which will

greatly aid in focusing - now I understand what the fuss is about with

Feathertouch focusers and the like!

Included some images of using electrical conduit pieces as a Unibrain

adaptor.  The pieces are I believe screwed into junction boxes to allow

the straight conduit pipes to attach to the box.  Prices are dirt cheap

and you need to enlarge the circular opening on the Unibrain (I scraped

it several times with a penknife) and also sand down the diameter of

the conduit just slightly.

Like Milton I had originally hot glue gunned some plumbing pieces but

one night imaging at about 3 Celsius the glue debonded and swearing

could be heard following the falling pieces.
