I uploaded an image I found recently that I had not processed from the summer. This was 

captured through my 4.1" refractor piggybacked on my 10" mak from the dark skies of the 

Black Forest Star Party in PA.

I had captured one unfiltered stream when the clouds rolled in. I didn't think there was 

enough signal collected - but looking at the file last week I saw that the stream contained 

40 frames at 30 seconds each. This was enough to create a decent luminance image. The 

color comes courtesy of a fellow Buffalo club member's CCD image.


Jon - I would second Milton's suggestion to choose the 21AF04 over the first generation 

21F04 camera. The imaging improvements were substantial and the 30 second exposure 

will allow you to experiment with some deep sky imaging (though I think the Point Grey 

cameras with their longer exposure times would be better suited to this.)
