Subject: Reminder on Posting

Hi Folks;

I'm glad to see people are grabbing images and sharing them with others.

However, just a reminder that if you post images to the files section,

we do want you to follow the guidelines listed at the top of the Astro

IIDC Yahoo page.

1) Naming of the file must include object name, date taken and

initials of person who took it. This helps everyone figure out what

they are looking at before openign a file up.

2) It would be nice if we could embed the details of what you used to

take the image with such as scope type, aperture, focal lenght or F

ratio, camera used, software used, processing done and seeing

conditions etc. The reasons for this documentation so that other

people have an idea of what they can accomplish with their own equipment.

Thanks in advance..
