thanks for your comments! I agree regarding the noise issue, it's in part due to the fact 

that I could use only few frames, in part because I had to crank up the gain on the camera 

due to the large image scale (0.12 arcsec/pixel), and in part because I overdid 

sharpening... really wanted to get the bright spot and the Encke gap to show, but the raw 

data was borderline insufficient to get there. I have been working on a softer rendition as 

well.. in the end there's nothing better than good raw data to start with... ;)


Now if only I had another 10 minutes of good seeing this year, that'd be quite something 

wouldn't it.

That is a really nice result! You've recorded the bright little double 

spot in the SEB that I found in my image from March 1st. The processing 

is just a touch noisy - but you have excellent detail that is 

indicative of very good seeing.
