Yes, it is the Autostar 497 and I have the KeySpan adapter connected to the hand controller. I am able to control the scope using Starry Night as well as Equinox so I know the connections are working correctly.

The scope has to respond to the LX200 command sets for Slew Motion
(i.e :Qe# :Qn# :Qs# :Qw#) and Slew Rate (i.e. :RC# :RS# etc. )
controls. So it works on the Meade RX, Meade LX, Meade ETX, Vixen
with (hacked) SkySensor 2000PC controller scopes.
