Hi Milton,

So if I plug only the KeySpan adapter to control the scope and get control of the scope with your software, then plug in the KeySpan to control the exposure for for my 300D I should be ready to run?

Yes. That does assume that the software your using for your 300D control is not going to try and use the serial port that Astro IIDC is using. If it doesn't let you select which serial port your using, then it may try and open the same port as Astro IIDC has claimed.

We do set the POSIX Serial flags (i.e TIOCEXCL) to give us exclusive access to the selected serial port so that non one else is supposed to be able to open() it, - however that assumes that this is actually honored by the both Apple and KeySpan. A POSIX serial port can be accessed by multiple applications at the same time - which can be a bit confusing.

Can't wait to see Astro IIDC 3!

I should have a list of the new features out later next week, which means our Alpha/Beta testers can talk about it then.
