It was exceptional viewing conditions and was the first image I had taken since February 5, 2006 - ending a long drought. It was so stable that I was shooting exposures of 133 ms, so I could keep the gains at 1/4 of what I normally would. At 2x or even 4x zoom in the preview window, Saturn was a completely solid and no traces of turbulence.
