Lately I have been using my DMK21BF04 BW camera at f/40 on the C9.25, in combination

with a Fire-i color camera at f/25. Since the color camera is less sensitive, even f/25 is a bit

of a stretch at times, but it seems to work OK as a simple means to acquire color data.

The BW stream was aligned using the new manual alignment feature in the upcoming version

3.0 of Astro IIDC. The two ansae were aligned separately, and re-assembled in PS CS. Giving

the user an option to manually select several alignment areas in the same image is a very

useful feature, as it allows for best alignment accuracy, even under less than ideal seeing

conditions.
