Hi Alan,
I'd be interested in knowing some of your processing steps as that, as well
as your previous image, are some excellent final products! How you stacked,
aligned, etc and any programs used other than Astro IIDC?
Thanks,
Jon

Hi -
Here's a Jupiter from last weekend - captured in good seeing but poor
tranparency which
made the image quite hard to process.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Astro_IIDC/files/Planetary/Jupiter_052706.jpg
Even at 66ms exposure I needed heavy gain - the frames were noisy and low
in contrast.
Still, some good detail is seen. Jupiter is drifting upward in the sky -
now at 33 degrees
elevation as it passes the meridian - woo hoo!!
cheers-
Alan
