Just to clarify.


You don't need QuickTime pro for that.  Astro IIDC already allows you to do it without costing an additional $30 USD (exact same functionality).


Just select the "Export Movie.." item  which is under the "Video" menu for version 1.x/2.x and under "Processing" menu in version 3.0.


And if your converting avis to movies, use the  "None" compressor type and set depth to "Millions of Colors" for the export. As long as your image source was 8 bit, it's loss less.


You might also want to try using our Bayer "ASC BGGR"  compressor type and set the Quality to medium or best. It will be 1/4 the size of the "None" codec.
