Paolo's latest images from his trip to Thailand are extraordinary. This one shows Gassendi at a high sun angle which allows a very impressive and natural visual effect to be created (it is harder with the harsh shadows and highlights at the terminator) yet there is still enough contrast through processing to show a zillion tiny craterlets - fantastic stuff!
