Hi Jean;

Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad it's working well for you. Nice round stars, so tracking must have been working pretty well. Can you fill us in on any details of the image, like camera used, telescope used, exposure times or other parameters? Sharing these sorts of details helps everyone take better images .

It is generally preferable that people upload their images to the File section, under an appropriate folder group (i.e M13 would go in the DSO or "Deep Space Object" folder). The reason for wanting this mainly because Yahoo has a restriction on the image size that you can put in the Photo albums, and if your image is bigger than that (which yours was at 600 x 548 original), then it gets re-scaled and re-compressed by Yahoo to a smaller size (maximum width 480 pixels or height 360 pixels). Sometimes that's okay, but for images like:

or

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Astro_IIDC/files/Lunar/Luna_20060504_MJA.jpg

you'd lose a lot of detail in the image if it got shrunk down to 480x360 maximum dimensions.

So  I took the liberty of re-naming your original image to "M13_J-F_MENARD.jpg" and uploading it to the DSO folder for you.

Hop[e that's okay..
