Hi Ron;
I was guiding off a mag 3.5 star at 15 fps / 66.67 ms. Last night I
was going after M27 and was guding on a Mag 5.8 star at 7.5 fps /
133.33 ms exposures. This was in 4x4 monochrome binned mode and a G4
1.25 gighz laptop.
The GPUSB worked great with the HEQ5 mount, once I changed the default
value of the dec backlash. It was set to 2500 by default and once I
dropped it to 10 it all works fine.
I was using two copies of Astro IIDC, one for imaging with the cooled
flea firewire camera and the other copy for guiding with the unibrain.
I'm also using a prototype version of Astro IIDC 3.x which I hope to
release once I'm back from vacation, which has a few new "bells and
whistles" etc.
HTH..

Nice image. whats the limiting mag you get with your unibrain guider
camera and an 80mm guidescope and what guide exposures? any problem
with using GPUSB and mount with mac laptop (a G4 I presume)? thanks.
