Subject: Astro IIDC Doesn't Like My DMK 21AF04, Either

At the time of my earlier post I had not attempted to use my new copy

of Astro IIDC 3.

Here is what I did: 

- To prevent possible interference I unplugged my iSight, disabled iChat

(which, as you know, grabs a FW camera as soon as it is plugged in,)

and deleted all traces of the IOXperts driver.

- I installed Astro IIDC 3 with the camera plugged in.

- When I saw that "Registration Options..." was grayed out I closed the

camera window and read pages 5 & 6 of the manual. (Really!)

Then I was able to enter the unlock key for Astro IIDC 3 from the

clipboard.

- I got a message saying "Success! Your Unlock keys have been

accepted... The next time you launch the "Astro IIDC 3" application,

these keys will be used."

- I took this to mean that I needed to quit and restart Astro IIDC 3.

I did that, then I clicked the "Start Video" button, but the video window

displayed the message "Unregistered Version." 

That is where I am now.

The only anomaly I can see is that the camera is shown as a

"DMx 21AF04" rather than a "DMK 21AF04."
