Subject: Filtering for LRGB

Hi again from Ray,

Post 2

I have various options for filtering in LRGB with my proposed camera - DMK 21AFO4.

a. I can go the expensive route (more than the camera) and get a motorised filter wheel (probably the True Tech Custom Wheel - I know the manufacturer and can get a bit of discount).

b. I can get a manual filter wheel (probably the Astro Engineering "imager's filter wheel" - I know the manufacturer and can get a bit of discount and it's a 1/4 of the price retail than a.)

c. Use a little gadget I already own that interfaces between the scope and camera and allows separate filters to be dropped in a slot individually which are held in place with a velcro strip.

I hate imaging to get overly complicated as it is complicated enough is there any experience you guys can impart to influence me making the best choice.
