Hi David;
The camera is not working right. Package it up, call technical support for an RMA and tell them to send you a replacement.
I know for a fact that they have a G4 Laptop for testing in Germany, so they should be able to prove that this is a real problem.
HTH..

There is only one way to guarantee that my DMK 21AF04 will work
on one of my Macs -- plug it into a Windows machine first.
Sometimes the camera works on my Macs, sometimes it doesn't.
If it is working and I have to unplug it for some reason it will not
re-start unless I plug it into a Windows machine, start the
Windows software, and then quit the software and disconnect
the camera and very soon connect it to a Mac.
When the camera works on the Mac I cannot say why -- there is no
consistent behaviour that would allow me to say "It works
if I do this..."
Every piece of software that I have on the Mac that can use the camera
recognizes the camera -- Astro IIDC, EvoCam, BTV Pro, QuickTime,
EquinoX -- but the camera sends only a blank white screen.
The camera behaves this way on six Macs. It isn't the FW cable --
I have tried many of them that work with other devices.
The camera always works with its included Windows software.
Ideas?
Thanks,
David
