possible explanation for what is happening and "TIS" is working on an

firmware update to resolve it. It apparently is not just Mac Specific

and Window PC's can also be affected by the issue to.

Hell's bells! I've been traveling (still am) and I just read this thread. I haven't heard from TIS 

since they received my camera back on the RMA; I would be more than happy to wait for one 

with upgraded firmware...

Good of you to follow up on this and push them in the right direction.
