Besides price, the Optronix cameras need a separate AC power source (weighs about 10 lbs), and the camera weighs around 5 lbs. Size wise, you can fit around 5 TIS cameras in the same space as one Optronix camera - so it's big and heavy and more like a SBIG unit.
