I never got to see it at all, so thanks for the images.


The 30 story apartment building that went up last year blocks my south

west view now and the comet needed to slide another 10 degrees west to

be visble.


It would be at least an hour drive one way to get out of Calgary

(traffic sucks now due to 40,000 + people per year moving here) so

that I could see the eastern horizon. And given that there had been at

least 500 "tow a way" accidents in Calgary over the past week with the

cold snap to -30 and then dumps of 2 to 12 cm of snow over night,

driving is not something people take lightly.


I sure hope the southern hemisphere people get a good show and lots of

interesting images under dark skies.
