Well, I looked at the best of my videos from the other night, and
decided my stars are too soft for me to want to embarrass myself by
posting the M36 pic. One frame came out pretty nice, but it's got
that grainy multicolored sky background that makes me want to hurl my
lunch when I look at it.
The seeing around here has been awful, with many multi-arc second
seeing. I'm sure the guiding was chasing that to some degree no
matter what I did. The stars through the 9.25", even at f/6 were
ginormous at best focus.
The difference in image scale wasn't all that great, with the f/6
reducer and bigger flea pixels on the 9.25" and the finer flea2 pixels
on the Megrez, as well.
Now it's raining.

Hi Tim;
I had the same issues with the Flea 2 and the FireWire 800 cable,
especially at -20°C as those cables are as flexible as using 1/4"
steel rods. Twice I had the camera / wire disconnect in mid use which
was of course right after I @#$#%%$ had calibrated it. I have to
figure out a faster / better way of calibrating it too especially
when it's cold out.
What i wound up doing was attaching the camera to the FW800 cable
first, then make sure you have both screws all the way in and then
connect the camera to the scope. And I will start doing the camera/
cable connect inside where it's warm and then wrap a baggie with
twist tie around the camera to bring it back inside after use where
it is warm and humid and condensing water.

I will say, though...
I had a lot of trouble with the cable connection on the Flea2. Darn
good thing it has screws to attach it to the camera. Even with these,
I lost connection 3 times when I slewed the telescope. I had to
tighten them pretty good for this to stop happening, and they're hard
to tighten with bare hands when its cold (the screws are really close
to the cable, and about the same size). I didn't have a screwdriver
handy, but I will tighten them better before next session.
