You may want look at trying a LPR filter. It can at least knock the light pollution back some.


I never used it successfully with the MAK 127 because it had so little light gathering that exposure times became ridiculous.


With the C8 I want to try it again.


Also light pollution also affects the guider too. At a dark site, I guide off star that are say 1 to 2 magnitudes fainter than I can ever do in the city.
