Subject: Luna 5.33 days old - Sunrise on Posidonius and Theophilus
Hi Folks;
Seeing wasn't great (3 to 5 out of 10 for turbulence) at prime focus,
but it was clear, wind less, warm (+5°C) and I had to shoot quick
before the moon went behind that 30 story monster apartment to the
south west.

I shot 27 gigabytes of video with the "1032x776" Flea 2 FireWire 800
camera at prime Focsu (2000 mm), and then did 5 gigabyte of detailed
imaging of Posidonius with a 2x Barlow (4000 mm) using the Flea
640x480. Processed it all last night in batch mode with Astro IIDC
auto picking the features. Wound up re-aligning 3 movies (out of 28)
manually because it could not get a good feature lock and stacked < 30
(I wanted around 80). I composited the images in strips and then
re-assembled it all together in MyCompositor.
The original image is actually 2.5 times larger than this one (3038 x
4286 pixels), but to make it easier to work with, I re-sized it down
to 40%, rotated it, then anotated it in AppleWorks.
TTYL..
