Something seems odd about the individual color channels.  Saturn is

sort of yellowish brown with whitish rings so, relative to the rings

the planet should be brightest in the red, less bright in the green,

and darkest in the blue.  Your green channel doesn't have much

contrast, and I would think the planet would be about as contrasty in

green as red.  Also, the blue channel has the planet brighter than the

rings, so I still strongly suspect that IR is getting through to the

CCD.  The luminance image is nice, though it could probably be

brightened a bit without saturating.
