Subject: Re: [Astro_IIDC] Potentially dumb question

Hi Jim;

I just tried it in different ways (i.e. just make a duplicate in the same folder named "Astro IIDC copy", Option Drag a copy to a different folder etc.) it seems to work fine on all of my Macs.

You are making a second copy and are not creating an Alias  of it which is just a link back to the original, right? Check the size of the two copies to make sure they are the same number of bytes too. If they aren't same number of bytes then something is definitely wrong.

The only time I've heard of something like with other applications was when permissions on that volume were munged up or one of of the finder databases were corrupted up on the Mac.

HTH..

Hi everyone,

I feel dumb asking this but ...  I want to take simultaneous streams of

colour and mono video of Jupiter with my Unibrain and PGR Flea but need

to have two copies of AstroIIDC running.  I know that this is possible

with people imaging and autoguiding using AstroIIDC at the same time, I

just can't my Powerbook to open two copies of it.  Help!
