What would you recommend to someone using, let's say a 10" LX200, who wants to move up from the Philips SPC900NC? Let's also say this person already has a Canon 350D, so he's not particularly concerned with a long exposure camera, as he feels he's got that covered for a while. And of course this person is a price shopper, so he's looking for a good value, especially compared to the SPC900NC which he's not unhappy with.

I'm really interested in the smallest (1388 x 1036) model, which uses
an EXHAD ICX285 CCD. That's the same as they use in the Starlight
XPress SXV series and is about 170% more sensitive than the CCD used
in the 640x480 Fleas.
You can also run them full size at 17 fps top, assuming your hard
drive can keep up you can shoot some phenomenal big fast images.
But we will see how the pricing comes out.
I'm also interested in their CMOS FireFly MV cameras (< $200 USD) as
they look like slightly higher cost alternative to buying a Unibrain
camera. The major attraction is they don't have the noise / TI
TSB15LV01 that the Unibrain have, can do 60 minute exposures (with the
GPIO dongle) and can deliver 8 or 16 (10 bit real) images too.
