One issue you may run into is with the GPUSB. They changed the  

hardware without changing version numbers etc. and if it's a 2007  

model, then it won't work with 3.01 and earlier, so you have to use  

the Beta 3.02 version.

Sure enough - my GPUSB was in the mailbox when I got home and after a quick hook-up I 

couldn't get it to work just as you anticipated.  When I opened the group page there was 

my answer before I even asked the question!  The beta 3.02 version did the trick - thank 

you.


I noticed that the "Speed" pop up menu is is disabled and this time I found reference to 

this in the manual in relation to the GPUSB and ActiveWire USB adapters.  Is this a feature 

that may be available in future for GPUSB users?  It isn't much of a big deal with my GM8 

because I can just set the slew rate to 16x on the controller box. Just curious...
