That looks absolutely fantastic.  I've been struggling for months and can't get any data like 

that but I also suppose processing has a lot to do with it as well.  Are you able to give up 

any secrets?   Is there a distinct advantage to creating a Luminance layer from the R+G 

instead of a straight RGB?
