Subject: Re: QuickTime 7.2 - DON"T INSTALL IT

Milton:

Thanks for the heads-up. I checked my computers at home, and I'm still

using 7.1.5.

But will the software update utility try to download it if I've got it

set to search for updates regularly?  I'll watch for it if so, and

hold off until they fix it.

Hi Folks;

Apparently Apple really munged up Quicktime 7.2 and has broken CFM

compatibility especially under Rosetta on Intel Macs. This means that

Astro IIDC will be unable to stack and align movies on Intel Macs with

QT 7.2 installed. It also means  horde of other apps are completely

screwed too.

If you have not installed it then please don't until Apple figures out

what it has screwed up and then releases 7.2.x.

Hope That Helps..
