I just checked, and Photoshop 7.0 can de-interlace.  Presumably newer

versions can as well.

"The Gimp" and NIH's "ImageJ" can also de-interlace.  Groovy thing is

that these apps are free.

He uses PSP to deinterlace, but I think probably PS might be able to

do it as well although I haven't looked.
