PS:

Astro IIDC 4 Progress Update.

I have finished the Universal version of the Bayer Codec, so color

movies recorded with Astro IIDC will be playable without using

Rosetta. It still needs more testing, but at least the code port is

done. I may release it as beta fairly soon to see if there are any

more bugs that I have not seen yet.

I'm about 20% through the port of Astro IIDC 4 into x86 and have the

underlying FireWire code now converted. I still have hordes of testing

to do for both PowerPC and x86 (lots of code re-writes), but at least

I can talk to the cameras, control them and extract frames now.
