Subject: Why are Menus Grayed Out Unless Camera Attached to Mac?

Milton:

I am the proud owner of a New Imaging Source camera and Astro IIDC. I

registered the program and successfully copied and pasted (via the

program) the unlock key to my computer. I registered the Camera in

anticipation of getting a new computer, rather than the computer.

When I boot up the program without the Camera attached, the only menu

item NOT grayed out is Open Camera. When I attach the Camera, all

choices are functional.

I was under the impression that the program could be used WITHOUT the

camera attached, but that does not seem to be the case...am I doing

something wrong? 

Is what I am seeing because I registered the Camera and not the Laptop? 

I really want to be able to use the program without the Camera

attached when I want to process files at my leisure.

Please advise.
