Didn't you get developer copies of Leopard so that you would have a

No Apple does not do that.

First off I have to spend at least $500 USD (which is 7.5 Astro IIDC licenses) per year and that gets me on the beta list for the lowest end developers program. Then Apple will offer sporadic updates  of Alpha / Beta releases for download.

Secondly Apple does not give ANY DEVELOPERS (i.e. PhotoShop is currently screwed up too)  the Golden Master final releases. We NEVER SEE those until Apple ships it as a general release. And as I mentioned previously, Apple makes changes in the final GM version that Developers NEVER SEE nor are allowed to test. Several times Apple has broken code in the GM release that worked fine in all previous builds.

As a matter of fact, Apple has shipped beta builds that did not even have FireWire capability in them, so how do you do any testing with those releases?

Are you not able to develop for

Quicktime using xcode.

We don't use QuickTime for video capture Astro IIDC. So QuickTime has nothing to do with this.

Hope That Helps..
