I've spent all day bashing my head against the wall but I finally

tracked down where Apple screwed up in Leopard that was causing all

the camera issues with Astro IIDC 3.x and also 4.x. They probably

broke every FireWire camera application /driver for x86 Rosetta in

Leopard and other products too.

Sorry to hear that it is so dificult to get IIDC working under

Rosetta. Unfortunately not the first time Apple breaks things with a

new OSX release...

I will stick to Tiger until the problems are fixed. Time machine would

be the only new feature in Leopard where I see as an advantage.
