Dear group friends,
i read very carefully all your messages about this
matter feeling a little embarrassed about the various
reactions caused by my inapproriate (so seem) request.
I think that someway i could agree or disagree with
all of you.
i explain better.
My "istinctive" thoughts and ideas are really similar
to Don otherwise i wouldn't have never written to the
group for tech support.
On the other hand i understand the point of view of
Alan and Milton due to practical needs (time, efforts
etc).
Last but not least: IMHO Milton is the Boss, the
Shrek, the Godfather, the President (etc) of this
group so he can decide whatever he wants: we could
agree and stay here or disagree and go away.
So after all the writings only a sentence remained in
my mind because English is not my language and i'm
very risky for a misunderstanding:
Following i will paste the last sentences of the 1st
Milton reply to Don
DON: Personally, I think Milton should re-consider
this stance...it is
frustrating and reduces the users reference points for
learning to use
the software to it's fullest potential - and, that is
what it is all
about, isn't it? To learn and grow one's interest in
astrophotography?
MILTON: Actually the only growth Astro IIDC is having
is in Microscopy, which is a very good thing"
Milton i know that you are mentally honest so please
explain to me if your happiness about Microscopy
market is in opposition to Amateur Astronomers that
you don't like so much as microscopers (because
microscopers are PRO and not Amateur like many of us)
Am i victim of a huge misunderstanding or you wrote
the last sentence trying to be really "cold" about a
part of your customers?
Sorry if i misunderstood so stupidly but at this
point i couldn't skip to ask this question.
Cheers to all!

Yes, guiding is very difficult, and I would love
to guide with the
software. But, not seeing the give and take
between you and Alberto is
frustrating to saythe least. To suggest Alberto
report back to the
group only puts more work on his shoulders that
just could be avoided
by a lively exchange.
I never suggest Alberto should report back to the
Group. In ever case
where I took it off line I always reported back what
the outcome was.
I don't expect people to do that.
Craig and Doug take it offline when it gets
ridiculous....smd, we
learn a ton by all of the questions and exchanges.
If you are
overwhelmed, why not have a few experienced
moderators help out...that
would be terrific.
Are you volunteering then?
